Back in 2005, 3000m on top of the Kitzsteinhorn mountain, a group of three people named themselves the Royal Captains. On that day they decided to achieve more by following their passion for partying and to live up to their newly christened name.
Wanting to put their passion into practice, as normal spectators to the International windsurfing circuit, recognizing the disconnect between the top windsurfers and their admiring public, they established their first congregation point at the prestigious Podersdorf, Austria event, drawing in the crowds at one of the biggest contests on the planet. Soon, the Royal Captains became the beacon for all the travelers following the event globally bringing the normally isolated top athletes directly in contact with their public. Becoming a permanent fixture at this unique event, not just a place to meet, not just a bar, the Royal Captains bonded the visitors and top athletes creating a family home for the enthusiasts – a haven for the sports stars and the fans to share each others lives!

Today, top international brands consult the team for their views and opinions on party concepts, fashion, style and music and many other subjects that can not be discussed during daylight hours!
